I think sports has a big future in 3D. So much so that I blogged the prediction back in August. Eventually we will be going to our local theaters to watch our local teams play.

The NBA just announced that it will broadcast its All Star Game to public theaters. The February 14game will reach up to 160 screens in 80 locations around the US, including Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, LA, New York, San Francisco and Seattle.
3D domains have a very lucrative future.
